ITIL Process Consultants are individuals who participate in a wide range of IT and storage process related consulting engagements. These projects may include assessment, requirements definition and solution design as related to key ITIL areas. The work may also include implementing solutions including new process components, organizational structures, tools and technology or policies. Individuals may also participate in business case development, KPI and metric definition and financial analyses.

Consultants have opportunity to build technical and managerial skills within the storage solutions space. They conduct work planning and prioritization for their team/group and are often accountable for maintaining day to day client relationships.

Lead or participate in the analysis of a client's current environment and the definition of future business and technical requirements

Perform strategic analysis and develop recommendations in one or more of the following areas: TCO, ROI, Risk, Security, Business Impact, Sourcing

Manage an ISC team that may include client, EMC and/or subcontractor team members

Qualifications:

Ability to analyze client environment including existing processes and technology
Experience or exposure to EMC technology or significant competitor technology (HDS, IBM, Veritas, etc.)
Experience with Storage Resource Management (SRM) tools.
Certification in one or more ITIL processes is strongly preferred.
Exposure to Business Continuity and/or Disaster Recovery planning is a plus
Exposure to recovery strategy planning and implementation is a plus
Ability to translate business requirements into technology requirements
Project Management skills including Workplanning, Estimating, Meeting Facilitation, Issue Resolution and proficiency with MS Project.
Understanding of process and quality management.
Ability to conduct detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments
Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problemsolving environment
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
2-3 Years related experience or minimum of 3 complete project implementations.
Has lead teams of 14 people on projects ranging in duration from 28 months
Experience in a Professional Services environment preferred.
Experience in workflow and process design (Six Sigma Certification a plus)
