ITIL Process Development

What is ITIL?
The Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) was introduced by the OGC (Office of Government Commerce), a branch of the British government, in 1989. It is a widely accepted framework for managing IT services. Based on best practice processes, ITIL’s integrated, guiding principles are the only comprehensive, non-proprietary, publicly accessible parameters for IT service management. ITIL enables business units to agree on common terminology, metrics and processes for service management.

How do we help customers incorporate ITIL and Best Practices?
We support ITIL processes by building its extensive service management solutions around ITIL standards. As organizations look to solve some of their biggest problems and address critical projects such as risk mitigation against viruses and service desk consolidation to optimize operations, adopting ITIL processes can deliver cost and service efficiencies and improved system availability in the IT environment. We enable the creation and maintenance of a configuration management database (CMDB), where service organizations can manage configuration items, such as hardware and software assets, incidents, changes, service level agreement, and contracts, as well as view their status and relationships within the IT organization.
